In January 2010, our Outreach Ministry launched a year-long campaign to collect groceries for our
local food bank. We created these "food wheels" and copied them on brightly-colored paper with a magnet on the back so they could be hung on a
refrigerator. The results exceeded our expectations -- in the first ten months, we collected over 900 pounds of food and are now anxiously awaiting the
tally from our year-end delivery. It will no doubt exceed our half-ton goal!
If your church or organization would like to use our food wheels for your own collection purposes, we invite you to download the files below. They are
available in a variety of sizes and formats as well as different foods for different months (just to avoid the possible problems if everyone in town collects
the same thing in a certain month).
